The creation of an effect is said to be the sole consideration of a person. It is said that 'A Culture is a great as its dreams and its dreams are dreamed by artists.' This year, the artists at Glass-Deco in The Netherlands give us the dreams and the effects to base a culture upon.

Since 1978 Glass-Deco has made quite some exotic journeys with clients from all around the world. Their pursuit is for a balance between function and form, and now often transcends the image of palace interiors, entrances, furniture, wall decoration, swimming pools and arts. The possibilities are endless and only limited by imagination.

Even though Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge", it is impossible to spot the limit of the knowledge that Creative Director Joos van Bussel puts into the art his group creates.

For example, standing next to this fabulous Pied de Crystal brings forth not only joy, but magic. As of today, 3 of the 5 original works are still available. Which is great for those who will attend events such as the Monaco Yacht Show, where it can be evaluated.

Glass-Deco goes beyond every criteria for evaluation. Furniture, decorative touches for vague spots in a room, grand floors and staircases, pools, all seem done with a spell. Upon inspection the details are no less breathtaking. No hint of "just good enough" is ever noticed.

Whether it is the doors we walk through, or the skylights from which the recording studio interior gets its sun, the impression of Glass-Deco's works are effect creators. Guests stand in awe the 10th and 50th times that they approach.

We are pleased to present our 2010 Art House of the Year. With such a great start, it will be a great decade.
